Speaker bio

Rosa is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, speaker, and trainer, and the founder of The Healing Guide Counseling Center in Pasadena, California. She specializes in trauma-informed care, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), working primarily with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, displacement due to violence, and complex trauma. Rosa’s work centers immigrant, Latinx, and mixed-status families, and includes psychological immigration evaluations for humanitarian relief cases. As a Peruvian immigrant and trauma therapist, she integrates cultural humility, social justice, and body-based approaches to support individual and collective healing.
