Jorge, AKA MAFONDO is a native fronterizo DJ from San Diego that spins and curates via all vinyl format. He has been DJing since 2004 and has opened up for artists like Celso Piña, Los Amigos Inivisbles, Barrington Levy, Sean Kuti, B-Side Players, Las Cafeteras, Gaiteros de San Jacinto, Chicha Libre, Bocafloja, Frente Cumbiero, Bomba Liberte and many more. His mixing style ranges anywhere from Elec-Tropical Funk, Latin-Jazz, Reggae, Afrobeat, Cumbia, Salsa, Soul and much more. Every year you can find Mafondo spinning at local community events and at the national traveling Mezcal festival called Mexico in the Bottle.
