Speaker bio

Dales Louissaint, a Haitian migrant, arrived in Mexico with the American dream and without speaking Spanish. Dales Louissaint is now an attorney and migration specialist based in Tijuana. He holds a law degree with honors from the Autonomous University of Baja California and a specialization in International Migration from El Colegio de la Frontera Norte. He has worked with UNHCR and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, and is currently an LL.M. student in U.S. Law at the University of San Diego and a legal intern at the USD Immigration Clinic.
