Speaker bio

Cynthia holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Family and Addiction Therapy. She is committed to promoting social well-being and social justice, as well as supporting individuals in vulnerable situations. She has professional experience working with migrant populations, women, families, and repatriated individuals through institutions such as the Center for Justice for Women of Baja California, migrant shelters, and public health and social service agencies. Her work is grounded in an empathetic, ethical, and human-centered approach, with a strong focus on family systems, addiction support, and community-based intervention.
