Speaker bio

Clorinda Merino is the Director of Equity at the San Diego Regional Center, where she leads Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility initiatives. With over 35 years of experience, she has trained professionals worldwide in child maltreatment prevention, family well-being, and community engagement. Ms. Merino has held leadership and training roles in evidence-based models at San Diego State University, Georgia State University, and multiple community-based organizations. She is a private consultant, graduate-level professor, and a dedicated advocate for children and families.
